Hollywood was visited by a team of Ofsted inspectors on the 11th and 12th of June 2019. The report is very positive and it certainly suggests that the school has moved on since the previous report presented to parents in January 2019.
The judgements are certainly reflective of the school.
The Overall effectiveness is now “Good”.
This is reflected in the:
effectiveness of leadership and management,
quality of teaching,
learning and assessment,
personal development,
behaviour and welfare,
outcomes for pupils and the
early years provision.
I must thank the whole school community for their support over the last two years which has helped us to move in such a positive direction to be recognised as a GOOD school. As Ofsted mention:
“The school is a happy and welcoming community. Relationships are positive, and staff look after pupils well. Pupils trust their teachers and other adults and feel safe.”
There are obviously areas we will be working tirelessly to continue to improve. If anyone needs a paper copy of the report please ask at the school office.
