A book-based planning sequence which covers all Primary English curriculum requirements by teaching through a text, Literacy Leaves.
From Year Two onwards, we use a strategy comprehension that helps children develop a deeper understanding of comprehension. Focusing on the six key areas: It is used in both Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) with slight adaptations. Pupils are exposed to high quality, diverse texts written by significant authors.
A cohesive sequence to make learning logical and rooted in strong content.
