Pupil Premium

We want to make sure that all our pupils receive the maximum help and support that they are entitled to and support you, as parents and carers, to help your child develop as a happy and confident individual who reaches their full potential in all areas of school life.

What is the Pupil Premium Grant?

The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and diminish the difference between them and their peers.

The lead member of staff for PPG is Mrs Hayward.

Miss Thomas

Is my child eligible?

To be eligible you or your child must be receiving one of the following:

Key Stage One

All children in Key Stage One are entitled to a free school meal (hot meal or packed lunch) but your child may be eligible for a free school meal and the pupil premium grant. If you think that your child would have been eligible for free school meals and you are in receipt of one or more of the benefits listed please phone the school on 0121 675 7711. We can then work with you to ensure that your child receives their full entitlement in school.

Key Stage Two

If your child is in or about to enter Key Stage Two and you receive one or more of the above benefits, your child may be entitled to a free school meal and the pupil premium grant. Application forms are available in the School Office.

How we use the funding

Headteachers and school governing bodies are held accountable for the impact of pupil premium funding. In line with current guidance, we place online the following information to keep all members of our school community informed of our expenditure of the PPG budget:
